Celebration of World Science Day and National Science Week - November 10 - 17, 2017.
The Sri Lanka Planetarium will be celebrating the World Science Day and National Science Week 2017 from 10th November to 17th at the planetarium premises. The week starts with a night sky observation camp held throughout the night on 10th November accompanied by Astronomy presentations and workshops. The night camp concludes with the fun and educational activity of water rocket launching. Apart from that there will be a series of Astronomy and Science lectures for the rest of the week.
Our target groups includes under graduates, navy personnel, school teachers, training college students, scouts, Astro IT-Lab members and the general public.
